The Federation
The Handball Federation of Victoria was incorporated in 1987.
The Handball Federation of Victoria is the official body for handball in the state of Victoria. The Handball Federation of Victoria is affiliated to the Victorian Olympic Committee and VicSport. The Victorian Government and VicHealth sponsor the Handball Federation of Victoria.
The aims of Handball Federation of Victoria are to promote the sport of handball throughout the state and develop the sport at the grass root level through our Schools Development Program.
Every year over 5000 school students are exposed to handball through clinics and school competitions.
During the year the Handball Federation of Victoria runs two major handball competitions. The State League runs from March until July and the Challenge Cup, runs from August until November.
Competition games are played each Sunday 11am - 3pm, at the Carlton Baths Community Centre, 248 Rathdowne St Carlton. Everyone is welcome to come down to watch, ask questions and get involved in Olympic Handball in Australia.
Nine Executive Members manage the Handball Federation of Victoria and two delegates represent each club.
